Web and app development that holds up in production
Every site we build starts with one question: what does this business need the site to do? For most of our clients the answer is produce enquiries, take orders, or stop the phone ringing with questions the site should have answered. Design, stack and content all follow from that.
Every site we build starts with one question: what does this business need the site to do? For most of our clients the answer is produce enquiries, take orders, or stop the phone ringing with questions the site should have answered. Design, stack and content all follow from that.
We work in Next.js, WordPress, Shopify and Magento. There is a staging URL from the first week, and Core Web Vitals and keyboard accessibility are acceptance criteria rather than a phase that gets cut when the timeline slips.
The people who build the site are the people who look after it afterwards, so nothing gets handed to a support desk that has never opened the repository. If you already have developers, we take the parts they do not cover: design systems, performance, a stalled replatform. Either way the decisions get written down.
Web & App Development: what we do
Website design & development
Your website is the only salesperson working at 2am in three time zones at once, so we build it accordingly. Fast enough to pass Core Web Vitals on launch day, structured so search engines and AI assistants can read it, and editable by your team without raising a ticket. Fixed scope, a clickable prototype before any code, a staging URL from week one.
Website redesign
Redesigns lose traffic for one reason more than any other: the URLs changed and nobody mapped them. So ours begin with a baseline. Rankings, speed, conversion, and which pages earn their place. Then one rule that survives every design argument afterwards: nothing that already works gets thrown away.
PSD to HTML conversion
You have the design. What you need is front-end code that matches it at every breakpoint, loads quickly, and does not fall apart the first time somebody adds a longer heading. We convert Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch and Photoshop files into semantic HTML, CSS and JavaScript, or into React components, a WordPress theme or a tested email template.
Web & App, answered
What stack do you recommend?
It depends on who maintains the site after launch, not on what we enjoy writing. Marketing teams that publish weekly usually get WordPress or a headless CMS. Stores go to Shopify or Magento depending on catalogue size and pricing rules. Custom logic and heavy traffic go to Next.js. We recommend one option with reasons rather than handing over a menu.
How long does a website take?
A brochure or services site is normally four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch. Ecommerce and web applications run eight to sixteen. You see a clickable prototype before any production code exists, and content is usually what decides whether we hit the earlier date.
How much does a website cost?
Brochure and service sites start at $2,500. Ecommerce and web applications usually land between $8,000 and $30,000 depending on integrations. A redesign of an existing site starts at $3,500. Every quote is itemised so you can remove things rather than negotiate a lump sum.
Do you provide hosting and maintenance?
Yes. We host on Hetzner or Vercel depending on the stack, monitor uptime and Core Web Vitals, and apply security updates on a schedule. Maintenance is a monthly retainer with a fixed number of hours, and you can leave with the codebase whenever you want.
Can you work with our in-house developers?
Often that is the better arrangement. We work in your repository, follow your review process, and take a defined slice such as the design system or the migration. You can also hire developers from us monthly if the need is longer than a project.
