Zoho development and customisation
The suite a mid-sized business can actually afford to run properly.
We customise and extend Zoho: CRM layouts and workflows that match how your team really sells, Creator applications for the operations the suite does not cover, Books and Desk integration, and connections between Zoho and your website, store or WhatsApp.
What Zoho is, and what it takes to make it work
Zoho is a suite of more than forty business applications, CRM, Books, Desk, Inventory, People, Campaigns, Creator and the rest, sold individually or bundled as Zoho One for a fraction of the enterprise alternatives. For a company of twenty to two hundred people it frequently covers the entire operational estate for less than one Salesforce tier.
That breadth is both the selling point and the risk. Each application is capable, none of them configures itself, and the default setup suits nobody in particular. The Zoho estates we get asked to rescue share the same symptoms every time: fields added by whoever needed one that afternoon, workflows firing in an order nobody designed, two applications holding contradictory versions of the same customer, and a Creator app someone built over a weekend that the business now cannot operate without.
The work that makes Zoho pay back is unglamorous. Deciding which application owns which record and writing it down. Designing layouts and pipelines around the real process rather than the demo video. Writing Deluge that is version-controlled and documented instead of clicked together and forgotten by March. Wiring up the website, the store and WhatsApp so records arrive complete instead of being retyped by someone in operations.
We build Creator applications where they genuinely fit: internal tools with forms, approvals and reports that would be extravagant to build from scratch. And we will tell you when a requirement has outgrown Creator and deserves a proper Laravel or Node application, which happens more often than Zoho's own materials suggest.
What we build with Zoho
Zoho CRM customisation
Modules, layouts, pipelines, blueprints and validation rules that reflect how your team sells rather than how the template assumed.
Deluge automation
Assignment, escalation, approval and notification logic written as scripts somebody can review, not as clicks nobody can trace.
Explore →Zoho Creator applications
Internal tools for inspections, approvals, inventory or scheduling, with the reports the business asked for rather than the ones that came free.
Suite integration
CRM, Books, Desk, Inventory and Campaigns wired together so a customer record means the same thing in every application.
Website and store integration
Forms, quotes, orders and support tickets flowing from your site, Shopify or WooCommerce straight into Zoho, complete and deduplicated.
Explore →WhatsApp and messaging
Zoho connected to the WhatsApp Business API so conversations, leads and tickets stay attached to the customer record.

Zoho compared with the alternatives
Zoho vs HubSpot
Zoho covers far more of the business, finance, inventory, HR, support, for much less money. HubSpot's marketing automation, reporting and everyday usability are better, and sales teams adopt it more willingly, which is not a small thing. Budget and breadth point to Zoho. Pipeline discipline and marketing point to HubSpot.
Zoho vs Odoo
Both are broad and affordable. Odoo is stronger for manufacturing, inventory and accounting-led operations, and it can be self-hosted with full source access. Zoho is stronger on CRM, support and marketing, and is entirely hosted so there is no server in the picture. Where is your centre of gravity, operations or customers?
Zoho Creator vs a custom application
Creator is genuinely good for forms, approvals and reports built quickly by a small team. Once you need complex logic, a public-facing interface, real performance or version-controlled deployment, a Laravel or Node application costs more up front and much less to live with. We will tell you which side of that line you are on before you commit.
Zoho, answered
Is Zoho a serious alternative to Salesforce or HubSpot?
For small and mid-sized businesses, yes. The functionality gap is a good deal smaller than the price gap, and Zoho One bundles applications the others charge for separately. Where it lags is polish, reporting depth and marketing automation. Real differences, rarely worth several times the licence cost.
Our Zoho setup has grown messy. Can it be fixed?
Almost always. We audit modules, fields, duplicates and automation, agree which application owns which record, then clean up in an order that keeps live reporting working through the process. Rebuilding in a fresh org is rarely necessary, and we would show you the reasoning if it were.
Can Zoho connect to our website and store?
Yes. Forms, quotes, orders and tickets from WordPress, Next.js, Shopify or WooCommerce, through the REST APIs or Zoho Flow. We build them idempotently, so a retried request cannot leave you with the same lead twice and two reps calling the same person.
Should we build our internal tool in Zoho Creator?
If it is forms, approvals and reports used by staff, Creator gets you there in a fraction of the time and we will recommend it. If it needs complex business logic, a public interface or genuine performance, build it properly. You get that read before either of us commits to anything.
Do you write Deluge?
Yes, and we keep it in version control with documentation beside it. The single most common problem in an inherited Zoho estate is automation nobody can explain. Scripts that were reviewed once and documented do not become that.
Can we hire a Zoho developer from you?
Yes. Dedicated CRM engineers covering Zoho, HubSpot and Odoo are $25/hour or $3,200/month, with a 15-day trial and profiles within 48 hours.
A Zoho estate that grew faster than its setup?
Tell us which applications you run and where the duplicates keep appearing. You get a clean-up plan in priority order.
