Find a task worth testing
The audit starts with the people doing the work. We map recurring tasks, the systems involved, time spent and the exceptions that require judgement. A useful opportunity has a defined input, an owner and a result the business can check.
For each candidate, the review considers data quality, available integrations, permissions, failure handling and running costs. An estimate should state its assumptions. Time saved is compared with the work still needed to supervise, correct and maintain the system.
Keep a clear reason to leave work manual
Some tasks change too often, lack reliable source information or carry consequences that make automation unsuitable. The report records those limits. There is no target percentage of the business that must be automated to justify an audit.
Leave with a decision, not a tool list
The output is a prioritised roadmap: candidate workflows, prerequisites, expected costs, review responsibilities and a sensible first pilot. It should explain what to test and what would make the pilot worth continuing.
The published audit fee and any credit against a first build remain subject to the proposal terms. If a build follows, workflow automation and a business assistant are different scopes. The audit helps decide which, if either, fits the task.

What do we actually receive?
A written report with the mapped processes, ranked opportunities carrying costs and payback periods, an explicit list of what to leave alone, and a sequenced roadmap. Plus a working session where you can disagree with all of it.
Do we have to build it with you?
No. The report is written to be vendor-neutral and specific enough for any competent team to quote from. Some clients take it in-house, and a couple have used it to brief a different agency. That is a fair outcome.
How much of our time does it take?
Around four hours in total across your team, split into short interviews with the people who actually do the work. We would rather talk to a support agent for half an hour than to a manager for two.
