CRM development is not glamorous and never appears on a roadmap, which is precisely why it gets left alone until somebody works out that three people spend a day a week retyping data between two systems that were supposed to talk to each other.

Our CRM engineers work across HubSpot, Zoho and Odoo. On HubSpot: CMS Hub themes and modules in HubL, custom objects and properties modelled on how the business actually operates, workflow design, and private apps connecting HubSpot to your product or billing system. On Zoho: Creator applications, Deluge scripting, CRM customisation, and the wider Zoho One estate many mid-sized companies now run on. On Odoo: custom Python modules, inventory and accounting configuration, and storefront integration.

What these projects have in common is that they fail for non-technical reasons. Nobody agreed the data model. Three teams hold three definitions of a qualified lead. The automations were built by whoever had a free afternoon. So our engineers map objects and lifecycle stages with your team before writing anything. It costs a week and saves months, and it is the part clients try hardest to skip.

When a dedicated CRM developer is the right call. The CRM grew organically and nobody can explain what the automations do. HubSpot or Zoho needs connecting to your product, ERP or billing. You are migrating between CRMs and cannot lose history. Or the marketing site should live on HubSpot CMS with templates your own team can edit.

When it is not. If the requirement is genuinely just configuration, a HubSpot or Zoho partner consultant costs less than a developer and we will say so. If what you actually need is a custom application rather than a customised CRM, Laravel or Django will be cheaper to own.

One engineer, working your hours, inside your CRM with least-privilege access and every credential staying in your hands.

How it works

How to hire

01

List the systems and who owns whatDay 0

Which CRM, which other systems it should talk to, and where the retyping currently happens. That last one usually identifies the real project.

02

Profiles, plus a look at your portal48 h

Two CVs, and with sandbox access a short read on your current setup. It is normally enough to spot the two or three automations doing the most damage.

03

Interview, ideally with sales present2–4 days

The engineer will be asking your sales team hard questions later, so see how that conversation goes now. Nothing is billed at this stage.

04

A mapped model and one live automationDays 1–15

The data model written down and one working automation or integration inside the fortnight, documented so your own team can maintain it. Unbilled if you stop.

05

Hand the keys backOngoing

NDA and IP before the first commit, least-privilege access under your account, and documentation as the work proceeds. Access is revoked when the engagement ends.

Questions

FAQ

Do we need a developer or a HubSpot partner consultant?

If the work is configuration, reporting and process design, a consultant costs less and will do it faster. Hire a developer when you need custom modules, serverless functions, custom objects or an integration with your own product. We will tell you which one your brief actually describes.

Can you migrate us from one CRM to another?

Yes. Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho and HubSpot in various directions. Most of the work is mapping and deduplication rather than code. The risk lives in the history, activities, notes and attachments, so we migrate to a sandbox and reconcile counts before anybody flips a switch.

Will our marketing team still be able to edit the site?

That is the requirement we design against. HubSpot CMS modules get sensible fields and constraints so a marketer can build a page without dismantling the layout, and without a developer in the loop for something routine.

How do you handle access to our CRM?

Least-privilege access under your own account, NDA signed first, work in a sandbox wherever the platform supports one. Every credential stays with you and access is revoked the day the engagement ends.

Can they connect HubSpot to our product or billing system?

Yes, usually as a private app with a small middleware service behind it. The parts that matter are idempotency, retries and a reconciliation report, so a failed sync is visible on Monday rather than leaving two systems quietly disagreeing until audit.
