Hire React developers
SPA, dashboards, design systems, testing
Discuss React development support for the work your team needs. Share the current project, required skills and collaboration hours so the proposed role and relevant experience can be reviewed. Profiles can be supplied within 48 hours. Developer allocation and the start date depend on discussion and agreement.
Availability and start dates are confirmed after we review your requirements. Use the form to request profiles.
Roles & ratesPublished fees are starting rates. The proposal confirms the named engineer, required experience, responsibilities and final fee. Monthly rates reserve 160 hours; hourly engagements have a 40-hour minimum.
A dedicated React developer can support an existing application, dashboard or component library when there is an ongoing backlog and someone on your team owns priorities and review. Start with the interface users need, the current architecture and the work to be completed.
Identify component, state, API integration, testing and accessibility requirements. For an existing application, explain the features to preserve and the problems users encounter. A focused improvement may suit a project scope, while ongoing product work may need an embedded engineer.
Public content also needs an explicit plan for rendering, crawlability and metadata. Compare the existing architecture with a framework such as Next.js where that helps meet the requirements; a particular framework is not a ranking guarantee.
Interview the proposed developer using relevant work samples and tasks from the backlog. Confirm experience, availability and working hours. Before onboarding, agree who supplies API changes, reviews pull requests and approves releases. Define first deliverables and handover expectations so the engineer’s work can be maintained by your team.
What they do
Product dashboards and admin
Data-dense interfaces with virtualised tables, filters that survive a refresh, optimistic updates and loading states that make sense.
Design systems
Accessible component libraries on Radix or Headless UI, documented in Storybook, versioned, and consumed by more than one application.
Legacy SPA modernisation
Class to hooks, Redux to Redux Toolkit or TanStack Query, Webpack to Vite. Incrementally, with tests added as ground is taken.
Performance work
Profiling in React DevTools, code splitting, memoisation only where it earns its keep, and bundle budgets enforced in CI.
Testing and accessibility
Playwright and Testing Library on the flows that pay the bills, plus axe-core so WCAG 2.2 AA problems get caught in review, not procurement.
API integration
REST, GraphQL and WebSocket clients with typed contracts, retries, caching, and error states you can actually put in front of a user.

How to hire
Show us the backlogDay 0
A Jira board, a list of the three things that keep slipping, or a repository. Seniority, timezone and start date is enough to begin the search.
Profiles with something to look at48 h
Relevant CVs, each with a public repo, a Storybook link or a recorded walkthrough of a component they own. Availability and rate printed on the same page.
Interview and set a task2–4 days
Talk to whoever you like, give them a live problem, call their references. None of it is billed, and we do not chase a profile you had doubts about.
Start on real ticketsDays 1–15
A live ticket in week one, then a piece of architecture, state, testing or accessibility, measurably improved by week two. Discuss replacement or cancellation under the agreed proposal. Onboarding work is paid.
Into the team properlyOngoing
NDA and IP signed before the first commit, accounts provisioned, stand-up in your timezone from week one. Change the mix or pause on 30 days' notice.
FAQ
React or Next.js, which should we hire for?
Choose the role around the existing architecture and work to be completed. React interface work and a Next.js application can share skills but require different rendering, routing and deployment knowledge. Include public search requirements, integrations and ownership of releases in the brief.
Can they work in our existing codebase, however messy?
Yes, and it is most of what we do. The first week normally goes on reading, mapping dead code and agreeing a direction with your team, rather than opening a 3,000-line pull request that nobody can review.
Do your React developers write tests?
Yes. Playwright for user flows, Vitest and Testing Library for logic, MSW for network mocking. If your repository has no tests at all today, they start with the two or three journeys that would hurt most if they broke on a Friday.
How do you handle accessibility?
axe-core runs in CI and keyboard behaviour is checked during review. Our engineers work to WCAG 2.2 AA by default. If you need a formal VPAT or an audit report for a procurement process, that is a separate scoped piece and we will quote it as one.
What timezone will they work in?
Working days and collaboration windows are agreed before onboarding using the client’s timezone and the date. Daylight saving and the proposed team’s schedule affect the available overlap.
Can we hire two and share a lead?
That is the pod model: two or three engineers plus a part-time tech lead and a delivery manager included in the scoped pod. It works out cheaper than three separate dedicated engagements, and code review is built in rather than left to whoever has time.
