A WordPress news portal built around Hindi articles, regional coverage, breaking news and video discovery.
The project brief
A reader may arrive for a local update, a national headline or a video. A news homepage needs to show the distinction quickly, while leaving routes into older coverage. Hindi headlines also need enough space to remain readable rather than being squeezed into a layout planned only for short English titles.
Design and approach
We organised the publication around its editorial sections. Uttar Pradesh and state coverage sit alongside national, international, sports, crime, entertainment and editorial routes. The homepage combines a breaking-news strip, a Top 10 selection, larger lead stories and topic-specific article modules. Secondary navigation provides the publication information and contact pages.

The article modules let the publication present several news desks within one recognisable website. These modules support a consistent reading experience across the publication’s sections.
