A curriculum-level website for Expert Maths Tuition
Education
A site for an Auckland maths tutoring business structured by exact curriculum stage, from primary through NCEA Levels 1 to 3, Cambridge, entrance tests and even Police numeracy tests, rather than one generic "tutoring" page.

The challenge
A parent looking for maths tuition is searching for something specific, "NCEA Level 2 maths tutor" or "Cambridge maths tuition Auckland", not "maths tutor" in general, and a business that only has one page covering every year level from primary to tertiary competes poorly against that specific search intent. Entrance-test prep, Police numeracy testing and SAT preparation are also genuinely different services with different content needs, not variations on the same page.
What we did
The site is built as a ladder of specific pages, primary (years 1 to 6), intermediate (7 to 8), secondary (9 to 10), then NCEA broken into Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 as three separate pages rather than one, plus Cambridge, entrance tests, tertiary, Police numeracy and SAT preparation each on their own page. A parent of a Year 11 student researching NCEA Level 1 lands on a page written specifically for that exam, not a page that also has to cover a five-year-old's times tables.
What we built
The site is hand-built in core PHP rather than a CMS or framework, which for 19 near-identical-looking curriculum pages means the page structure itself is a shared, maintainable template rather than 19 independently editable WordPress pages that would drift out of consistency over time. Nineteen distinct service pages sit under one tutoring brand, which is a content-management problem as much as a design one, each page needs to read as genuinely specific rather than a template with the year level swapped in. The founders get their own page separate from the general About Us page, putting real people's qualifications behind a business whose entire pitch is trusting a stranger with a child's academic results.
This entry documents the live, published site at expertmathstuition.co.nz as it stands today, including its curriculum-stage page structure, checked directly (19 distinct service pages found). We have not added campaign results or before/after metrics here because we do not have the client's written figures to hand; ask us and we will request them, or tell us the numbers and we will publish them with attribution.

Questions
Why does NCEA get three separate pages instead of one "NCEA tutoring" page?
A Year 11 student's NCEA Level 1 exam and a Year 13 student's Level 3 exam are different qualifications testing different content. Splitting them means a parent searching for their child's actual exam year reaches a page written for that exam, not a general NCEA page that has to hedge across three year levels.

Home2Grow Childcare Ltd
A WordPress site for an Auckland home-based childcare network, built for two different audiences at once, parents finding an educator and educators wanting to join or get support.

Lockman
A WordPress site for an Auckland mobile locksmith, split into four specific service pages, mobile locksmith, car keys, smart lock systems and emergency locksmith, so an urgent search lands directly on the right one.
