A curriculum-led website for Nature's Point Childcare
Early childhood education
A WordPress site for a Papakura childcare centre built around a nature-based curriculum, with six separate curriculum pages, a named-teacher page and its own recruitment section for open roles.

The challenge
Nature's Point is not competing on price or proximity alone, its case to parents is a specific educational philosophy, learning built around the outdoors rather than a standard indoor curriculum. That is a harder sell than "we have space available", and it fails if a parent cannot see concretely what the philosophy actually looks like day to day, not just read the word "nature" in a tagline.
What we did
The curriculum gets six separate pages rather than one paragraph, Ruma Ponga (under twos), Ruma Kahikatea (over twos), transition to school, Kirks Bush explorers, bringing nature indoors, and exploring with loose parts, so a parent of a one-year-old and a parent of a soon-to-be-schooler are each reading the specific programme their child would actually be in, not a philosophy statement that has to cover every age at once. A named "meet our kaiako" page puts real teachers behind the philosophy, and a testimonials page and blog give the claim ongoing evidence rather than a one-time pitch.
What we built
The site runs on WordPress 6.1 with Google Site Kit wired in for analytics and Search Console, and Slider Revolution for the homepage. A dedicated "available roles" section handles recruitment directly on the marketing site rather than through a separate jobs board, which matters for a nature-based programme specifically because it needs kaiako who already believe in outdoor-led learning, a general job-board listing does not screen for that the way a page that has just made the philosophy case to the reader does.
This entry documents the live, published site at naturespoint.co.nz as it stands today, including its six curriculum pages, checked directly. We have not added campaign results or before/after metrics here because we do not have the client's written figures to hand; ask us and we will request them, or tell us the numbers and we will publish them with attribution.

Questions
Why does the curriculum need six separate pages instead of one "our philosophy" page?
A parent of a one-year-old and a parent of a child about to start school need different, specific evidence, not the same paragraph about nature-based learning. Splitting by age and programme lets each parent read the exact experience their own child would have.
Why does a childcare site have a recruitment section built into the main navigation?
A nature-based programme needs kaiako who already believe in outdoor-led learning, not just any qualified teacher. A recruitment page that sits after the philosophy and curriculum pages reaches candidates who have already read the case for the approach, which a generic job-board listing cannot do.
