Technical SEO, local search and AI answers: the checklists we run on client sites.
SEO is the oldest service we sell. Knit Infotech started doing it in 2013, back when a keyword-stuffed footer still moved something. These articles track what has survived and what has not.
The honest summary of the last three years: technical hygiene got cheaper to achieve and stopped being a differentiator, links got harder to earn and easier to detect, and a large share of informational search now ends in an AI answer rather than a click. None of that makes SEO pointless. It does move the work towards entity clarity, genuinely useful pages, and being the source an answer engine cites.
We write these with a specific reader in mind: someone who owns a site of thirty to three hundred pages, has a real business behind it, and cannot afford six months on a theory. So the articles are checklists and decisions rather than essays. What to check, in what order, what to ignore.
Start with the first-day checklist whatever your situation; it is the order we work in on every new account. Nitin, our SEO manager, reviews everything on this page before it goes live, and where we have changed our advice the note at the top of the article says what changed and why.

We wrote this in 2020 and it ranked for years. Rather than change the date, we went through the original advice item by item and marked what survived.
